Tencent Video JUMPPARK Music Festival
August 3
Venue: Qingdao - the tarmac of the closed former Liuting Airport
On August 16, Tencent Video JUMPPARK Music Festival was held at the tarmac of Qingdao’s former Liuting Airport. Hua Chenyu closed the event with 8 of his representative songs.
Hua Chenyu appeared with silvery-white long hair, paired with avant-garde stage costumes. He took the stage on a suspended extended platform to perform, creating a mysterious atmosphere where “the voice can be heard but the person cannot be seen”, and the footage shot from an overhead angle stunned the entire audience.
Hua redesigned the opening music for this music festival. The stage design integrated laser effects, drone performances, and spraying of ribbon paper, and also adopted the visual logo of his Mars Concert, thus creating an immersive “mini Mars Concert” experience. Hua Chenyu asked the fans on site, “Did you see the surprise?”

PEACE NIGHT of “Game For Peace”
August 9
Venue: Sanya - Egret Stadium, Sanya Sports Center
On August 9, Hua Chenyu participated as a celebrity endorsement in the “PEACE NIGHT” of the mobile game “Game For Peace”.
All four celebrity endorsements of “Game For Peace” (Hua Chenyu, Victoria Song, Tian Xiwei, Esther Yu) appeared in cosplay. Hua cosplayed the character “Nova Fierce Loong (新星烈龙)” (wearing the headpiece of “Fantasy Rocket (梦幻火箭)”).
In addition to the 5th Anniversary Theme Song “Eternal Flame AKA The onquenchable fire (永不熄灭的火焰)“, Hua also performed his original song “Bizarre Psychology AKA Quirky Psychology (怪诞心理学)“.
In the exhibition match, Hua led his team to victory.

Z Era Galaxy Left Bank Music Festival
August 3
Venue: Guiyang - Guanshan Lake Park
On August 3, Hua Chenyu returned to Guiyang Guanshan Lake Park, where he held a Theme Park-style Concert just last year, to participate in the Z Era Galaxy Left Bank Music Festival.
Hua wore casual clothes again this time, with snow-white hair. What’s more, he put on the red sunglasses that he couldn’t wear at the previous music festival due to heavy rain.
Hua also arranged for drones to perform in coordination with his performance.

Zhangbei Grassland Music Festival

Venue: Zhangjiakou - Zhangbei Zhongdu Original Grassland
On July 26, Hua Chenyu visited Hebei Province, to participate in the Zhangbei Grassland Music Festival. On Zhangbei Grassland, rare consecutive heavy rains hit the drought-stricken grassland, turning the lawn into a pond deeper than the calf. The environment was extremely harsh.
Equipment was damaged by the rain, making rehearsals impossible. After taking the stage, Hua and the band members found their in-ear monitors silent – only the metronome worked. So they sang three songs along with only the metronome. The accompaniment that followed was also intermittent, but it did not affect his performance at all.
Braving the rain, Hua Chenyu stated that he took the stage in his casual clothes, as fans had wished during the live stream. Coincidentally, this entire outfit – from head to toe – was waterproof.
The setlist included “Searching for Myself (好想我回来啊)“, a song that had never been performed at a festival before.

Changchun Aura Music Festival

Venue: Changchun - Olympic Park
On May 25, Hua Chenyu performed at the Aura Music Festival in Changchun. This marked his first live performance in China’s northeastern region and served as a warm-up for his upcoming Mars Concert in the northeastern city of Shenyang next month.
After last weekend’s Mars Concert in Qingdao, Hua caught a cold, so he performed at this festival while under the weather. He could be seen occasionally covering his microphone to cough quietly, but he still maintained a high vocal standard, delivering a total of 8 songs – one more than at last month’s music festival in Wuhan!

Beloong Music Festival, Wuhang

Venue: Wuhan - INTIME Music Park
After six years, on April 20, Hua Chenyu returned to the music festival stage! With his full concert band lineup and brand-new VJ animations specially created for the festival. Hua delivered six songs to his hometown audience in Wuhan. The setlist included fan-dubbed “commercial performance package” like “I Don’t Care (我管你)“ and “For Forever“, alongside recent releases “Black and White Artist“, “Bizarre Psychology AKA Quirky Psychology“, “Extraordinary Ordinary Life“, and “Never Cross Paths AKA Eternal Farewell “, culminating with the classic Martian love ballad “King and Beggar“.
Notably, “Black and White Artist“ marked its debut performance outside Hua’s solo concerts.

Hua Chenyu participated in Hunan TV’s countdown party for 12 consecutive years.
This year, Hua performed two new songs, “Bizarre Psychology AKA Quirky Psychology (怪诞心理学)“ and “In the Morning Light, There’s You (晨光你有你)“, which were first released at the “Mars Concert 2024”.
In addition, Hua and Idol group TNT (时代少年团) together performed the song “我要你管”, a mix of their respective masterpieces “I Don’t Care (我管你)“ and “要你管”.
