Dancing Siren (舞娘)

First released at the music show “Infinity and Beyond 2023 (声生不息宝岛季)” EP2 in 2023.
Then, in the second half of 2023, during the Mars Concert 2023 Stadium tour, Hua included fragments of this song in his cover songs medley.

1. About the song

“Infinity and Beyond 2023” is a music program based on Taiwanese golden songs. Recordings were carried out in Changsha and Taipei at the same time, taking the time as a clue to comprehensively sort out the “Chinese Music Chronicle” with Taiwanese characteristics. Build bridges and bonds through literary and artistic works, continuously strengthen the common memory, emotion and consciousness of compatriots on both sides of the strait, and demonstrate the spiritual bond of Chinese culture.

In this program, Hua Chenyu chose to act like a producer rather than just a singer. He focused on helping other singers adapt songs and arrange performances, recreating the talent for adaptation that shocked Taiwan a few years ago in the music show “The Next”.

In EP2, Hua Chenyu collaborated with Taiwanese songstress Waa Wei and ?te, and sang an adapted version of Jolin Tsai’s masterpiece “Dancing Siren (舞娘)”. This was an amazing performance that cannot be expressed in words.
