In the 2017 singing competition “The Next S1” EP12 (Finals), Hua Chenyu and finalist Juno Su adapted and sang a male-female duet song “Perhaps Love (如果爱)” from the musical.
In the 2016 singing competition “The Next S1” EP11,
Hua Chenyu adapted and sang famous Chinese singer Karen Mok’s masterpiece “If You were Li Bei (如果你是李白)”, with semi-finalist Fan Yuanyuan.

Hua Chenyu adapted and sang a classic Chinese song “Nanping Evening Bell (南屏晚钟)”, with semi-finalist Juno Su.
Flammable and Explosive (易燃易爆炸)
Hua Chenyu sang an adapted version of independent musician Chen Li’s masterpiece “Flammable and Explosive (易燃易爆炸)” on the singing competition “The Next S1” EP9 in 2016 and on the singing contest “Singer 2018” EP8 in March, 2018.
First released at Tianyu (his agency)’s 10th anniversary “Tomorrow Party” cross-border art exhibition on December 2014. Officially released on April 27, 2015.
Spring (春) - Music Program “Hi Song (Hi歌)”
“Spring (春)” was composed in EP4 of the music program “Hi Song (Hi歌)” that Hua Chenyu participated in on November 27, 2014. It was selected as the “HI Song of the Year (年度Hi歌)” by netizens.
On August 2, 2013, Hua Chenyu sang the classic English song “Somebody That I Used to Know” in the competition for the TOP 10 of “Superboy 2013”.
On July 12, 2013, Hua Chenyu sang “The Kill”, the masterpiece of 30 seconds to mars, in the competition for the TOP 20 of “Superboy 2013”.
On June 29, 2013, at the preselection in Changsha division of China’s most popular talent show “Superboy 2013”, Hua Chenyu wore an old T-shirt, carried a keyboard on his back, and sang his original “Lyricless Song” without makeup. On that, Hua won the qualification to compete for the top 20 in the country, and that was also his first appearance on TV.
